What would I need to know if I were in the market to purchase a used pontoon boat?

I have very little experience with with boats in general so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!|||Are U on the water or do U need to haul it to the ramp U will need a truck. Do U have a place to keep it when not in use. Take a boating course and marine propulsion so U can use it safely.And can U afford it???
